Ayanna Blue Therapy

Therapy for the blueprint of your soul.
As a therapist, I guide you from a life of surviving to a life of thriving. My approach is collaborative, thoughtful, and embodied, where you feel seen, heard, and witnessed in every step of your healing journey.
My Mission
I am a trauma-informed therapist working with individuals and groups to navigate complex trauma, systemic and intergenerational trauma, systemic environmental stress, identity formation, life span changes, and self-actualization.
My Vision
Everyone deserves the right to the life they desire, free from systemic forces that create maladaptive responses that stifle one’s soul’s mission. I want people to be free, liberated, and self-directed toward their version of life that is most fulfilling, rewarding, and soft.
My Work
As a therapist, artist, educator, facilitator, and speaker, my work is an invitation to grace, softness, and fierce pursuit of understanding personal truth. I leverage my experience in mental health, performance studies, the arts, education, and self-development to create strategies that guide you to the unknown places. You will build more capacity for what can be, thoughtfully holding possibilities, processes, and the promise of healing.
ABOUT AYANNA BLUE THERAPY
I help you develop holistic tools to support a life of health and wellness that works toward embodiment, not perfection.

Ayanna Blue (she/her), M.A. LGPC, NCC is a uniquely diverse and talented transformational partner for healing, growth, and self-actualization.
As a licensed therapist, she brings her trauma-informed approach and champions an ethos of transformational healing, supporting a holistic healing process through diverse modalities. Blue is a truth seeker guiding you to the most intimate parts of yourself to be transformed, restored, and renewed. The epitome of a multi-hyphenate, Blue leverages her life experience, academic profile, and career knowledge into a praxis, a constellation of skills that are thoughtful, intentional, empathetic, and informed. Blue combines theoretical orientation with integrative modalities to meet, witness, and truly see individuals, families, and groups where they are in their healing journey and connect them to where they want to be.
WHY AM I A THERAPIST?
I am a midlife second-career therapist with a background in lived experience and the arts. My desire to become a therapist comes directly from lived experience, the struggles of my own healing journey, and the realization that I have always been a helper by nature. A twice breast cancer survivor, I have navigated complex trauma and various challenges of life. I have walked the walk and continue to be curious about how to lead my most embodied life.
A PERSONAL TIDBIT
In my downtime, I value rest and time with loved ones. I have a creative spirit and love all things creative. I am always deep in a home interior design project, resisting the temptation to buy another plant, and brainstorming about throwing my next party or planning a vacation. I am blessed to be in community with so many beautiful souls. At this stage of my life as a mother and wife, I am constantly reinventing what it means to stay true to myself.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT IN THE THERAPY ROOM?

Therapy Sessions
1
Individual
In individual therapy sessions, I work with individuals across the adult lifespan who are navigating life stage and development transitions, complex trauma, systemic burnout, relational and attachment trauma, identity shifts, systemic distress, and intersectionality. I specialize in providing empathic and relational care that conceptualizes the holistic person and their lived experience. We work collaboratively to discover and birth more capacity and coping mechanisms that help transcend and cultivate transformational self-awareness and address areas of maladaptive concern.
2
Family
I work with groups in a specialized, focused area to address a collective concern. The group model allows for individuals to process through the individual and collective experience while relational discovery and learning take place. Groups meet weekly for a specific time frame, and group dynamics are essential to the healing and transformation process.
3
Group
I work with groups in a specialized, focused area to address a collective concern. The group model allows for individuals to process through the individual and collective experience while relational discovery and learning take place.
